After breakfast, get ready for an outdoor discovery of Hanoi City. The local highlights for your city tour include the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum, Presidential Palace, One-Pillar Pagoda, Temple of Literature, and Ethnology Museum. These sites provide you with good knowledge about ancient Hanoi besides its modern corners. A trip won’t be complete without visiting the famous Hanoi Old Quarter whose streets were named after specialized products. Try some Hanoi Street dishes for exceptional culinary experiences on the spot. At night, have a ticket for the Water Puppet Show ready and enjoy the cultural performances.

Around 8:00 AM, a scenic drive transfer from Hanoi to Ninh Binh will begin. The first outstanding historical site today is the 10^th-century Hoa Lu Ancient Citadel, which was the capital of Vietnam from 968 to 1009 CE. Next, enjoy a pleasant boat trip along the picturesque Tam Coc stream passing the green fields and the bases of limestone mountains into the mouths of the caves. The hidden stalagmites and stalactites shimming like gemstones can surely wow you.

Around 08:00 AM, you should be ready for another scenic drive transfer from Ninh Binh to Halong Bay. The legendary “Bay of the Descending Dragon” welcomes your overnight cruise trip. While lunch is being served onboard, you enjoy gorgeous sightseeing of emerald seascape, interestingly shaped limestone formations, floating villages, etc. The cruising route might vary due to the selected vessels, but normally let’s explore Sung Sot Cave (Surprising Cave), go swimming, kayaking, and sunbathing on the sundeck. Have dinner and enjoy nightlife activities onboard.

Get up early to catch the magical sunrise over the picturesque seascape. The morning sea breeze and fresh air are truly good for health. Have breakfast or brunch, and then venture out to explore a limestone grotto. Return to the cruise to pack your things, check out, and savor the legendary bay view while it’s sailing back to the harbor. Around 11:30 AM, a drive back to Hanoi begins. Upon arrival at Hanoi train station, you can take a short rest at a hotel nearby. Later on, you’ll be guided to your cabin for a night train to Lao Cai.

Upon your arrival at Lao Cai train station at around 06:00 AM, get on a car transfer to a hotel in Sapa. You’ll have breakfast in the hotel, and then enjoy free time at leisure to refresh or take a glimpse of the lovely town. Spend the afternoon on a walking tour to the hill-tribe Cat Cat Village of the Hmong ethnic people. It’s time for delightful cultural exchange, chatting with the friendly locals, taking pictures, and watching their life activities. Return to Sapa by the late afternoon.

After breakfast, you’ll be keen on exploring Sapa ethnic market. Spend the next 3 or 4 hours trekking down to the picturesque Muong Hoa Valley, and then visit the rustic villages of Lao Chai and Ta Van – homes to the Hmong and Dzay minority groups. It’s time for mingling with nature as well as ethnic culture. Lunch will be served in a local restaurant. After lunch, you’ll be trekking back to the gathering point where the car is waiting for a drive back to Sapa town. Be free at leisure until around 05:00 PM when you should be present at the train station for a night train to Hanoi.

NOTE: If it is Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday, or Sunday, some ethnic markets in Sapa will open for your visit.

Upon arrival at Hanoi train station, enjoy the pick-up service toward the Noi Bai International Airport for a morning flight to Hue. The staff on the spot will take you to a hotel in Hue, where you check in and refresh. Later, get ready for a royal-style dinner of Hue cuisine in a local restaurant. The elegant and sophisticated Hue gastronomy will cheer you up.

After breakfast in the hotel, let’s go out to explore the poetic Hue city and its historical landmarks. The first and foremost site to see is The Imperial City of Hue, which preserves many ancient monuments of the Nguyen dynasty. Next, embark on a boat to sail along the romantic Perfume River; the cruising route will stop at the irreplaceable Thien Mu Pagoda. You will have lunch in a local restaurant, and then the city tour goes on to visit the well-known Tu Duc’s Tomb. The next hours are for exploring the long-lasting Dong Ba Market where to shop like the locals and observe their trading activities.

Start the day with a scenic morning drive from Hue through Hai Van Pass. On the way, let’s stop to visit the Cham Museum and Marble Mountain – the highlights of Da Nang. Later on, you’ll arrive in the celebrated Hoi An Old Town – the 20^th among the 25 best cities in the world in 2022. Have lunch in a local restaurant. Check-in at your hotel. The afternoon is the time for Hoi An City Tour by walking on peaceful streets and visiting the antique highlights of the Japanese Covered Bridge, Tan Ky Old House, and Phuc Kien Assembly Hall. Your nighttime in Hoi An will become cheerful with colorful lanterns, shopping, Hoi An food, and coffee.

Spend morning hours for an exploration of the UNESCO-listed My Son Sanctuary which preserves the Cham’s unique architectural ruins of the 4^th-13^th centuries. The spot provides unique photo shots and good historical knowledge. In the afternoon, you can relax at a local beach or go shopping for handicrafts, souvenirs, tailor-made dresses, lanterns, etc. Simply a walk along the riverside can provide a nice glance at the locals’ houses, life activities, and overall atmosphere.

Sleep in Hoi An.

After breakfast, take a morning transfer to Da Nang Airport for a flight to Nha Trang, a famous coastal city filled with amazing beaches and islands. Upon arrival at Cam Ranh Airport, you’ll be taken to the city downtown to check in at your hotel. It’s your free beach vacation, so make the most out of it. As a “queen beach city,” Nha Trang owns one of the most beautiful beaches with white sand, transparent water, coconut lines, and scenic far-off islands. Also, its seafood is very yummy.

You have a full day to relax on the beaches and explore the local restaurants, buildings, coffee shops, etc. The coastal city will never fail to charm you on the beaches and a variety of water activities like swimming and scuba diving. Many backpackers and vacationers can spend hours relaxing on the white-sand beaches, get soaked, take selfie pictures, and obtain “vitamin sea.” You can also visit Vinpearl Nha Trang on Hon Tre Island and some other tourist attractions to end up a happy day in the queen city.

After breakfast, you’ll experience a pleasant drive from Nha Trang to Da Lat – the City of Eternal Spring, featuring a year-round cool climate. Around noon, you’ll be arriving in Da Lat. Check-in at your hotel. Get out of the room for a glimpse of the lovely city, which is green, fresh, and flowery.

Around 08:30, let’s be excited to explore “The City of Love” and the famous Truc Lam Buddhist Temple, which is peaceful and picturesque. Next, proceed to Bao Dai’s Villa – home of the last Vietnamese emperor, the surrounding pine hills, the old train station, Da Lat Cathedral, and the local market. The city tour will end up with shopping and eating local street food in Da Lat market.

You will fly from Da Lat to Saigon, and upon arrival, enjoy a pick-up service transferring you to a local hotel. Take a good rest and relax in your room. Later, you can go out for an initial exploration walk in the neighboring corners. It’s a sleepless city filled with delectable street food.

Spend morning hours visiting the city highlights namely Central Post Office, Notre Dame Cathedral, Reunification Palace, and War Remnants Museum. Next, enjoy shopping for souvenirs in the famous Ben Thanh Market or have a happy stroll along Dong Khoi Street for a real glimpse of the dynamic cityscape. After lunch, enjoy a scenic drive from the city center to the Cu Chi Tunnel, which preserves a complex system of underground tunnels for later generations of tourists and students to explore. Drive back to Saigon and enjoy the sleepless vibe.

Gather at the hotel lobby for a 2.5-hour drive transfer to Cai Be town of Mekong Delta. Upon arrival, embark on a cruise, have welcome drinks, and check in your cabin. The cruise will sail along the narrow canals and green countryside landscape while lunch is being served. Later, the boat will stop at a local village for cultural interactions and for marveling at lush orchards and rice fields. Return onboard, rest, and watch peaceful sunset. Have dinner while the cruise is anchoring for a calm night.

Be an early rise at around 06:30 AM to catch the amazing sunrise while the cruise is sailing its route to Cai Rang floating market of Can Tho Province. Transfer to a local sampan boat to access the floating markets, where the locals are selling a variety of fruits and goods. Then, you’ll disembark at Ninh Kieu Pier, in which the vehicle is waiting to drive you back to Saigon. Refresh in a hotel. Hang out for a memorable dinner in Saigon.
