Rewarding yourself with 4 days 3 nights off from work to become an “archaeologist” who discovers the lost world of Angkor. The entire Angkor Archaeological Park covers dozens of amazing religious remnants, of which the biggest must-see is Angkor Wat. During the temple tours in 3 days, you’ll also explore these outstanding names: Lo Lei, Preah Ko, Ba Kong temples, Angkor Thom, Banteay Srey, Prasat Kravan, Srah Srang, Ta Prohm, Neak Pean, and Preah Khan temple. Upon exploration of these consecrated religious monuments, it’s like you’re getting lost in the hidden world filled with the strange, mysterious, and antique constructions left by Khmer civilization. The actual visit can provide valuable pieces of historical information needed for your projects if any. Otherwise, history buffs will surely enjoy being an archaeologist.
The fourth-day Angkor tour will be for cruising on the scenic Tone Sap Lake, the largest freshwater in Southeast Asia. The boat trip is what is needed to enjoy sightseeing sceneries along the riversides and access the floating village with local houses, schools, police stations, souvenir shops, etc. on the lake. You’ll be keen on watching the locals’ life activities, eating Khmer food, and buying Khmer items. Note that the floating village might change its location subject to the water levels and current. So, each time you have a boat trip on Tonle Sap Lake, it brings distinctive experiences.
