DAY 01: Hanoi Arrival


The meeting point is Noi Bai International Airport, from which you will be picked up and transferred to a local hotel in Hanoi. For the rest of the day, you have free time for ease and relaxation in the capital city.

DAY 02: Full Day Hanoi City Tour (B)


Breakfast will be served in the hotel.
Get ready for a full-day Hanoi City Tour, which will first take you to the important Tran Quoc Pagoda located on the shores of West Lake. The serene Buddhist pagoda is open for worshipping and sightseeing. The next hours will be spent respecting Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum, which is the final resting place of President Ho Chi Minh. Going on, you will arrive at the must-see historical landmarks namely One Pillar Pagoda and the Temple of Literature.
After lunchtime, you can decide to explore one of Hanoi’s museums (History Museum or Ethnology Museum) for witnessing the historical, artistic, or cultural objects exhibited. Next, have a pleasant walk around the Hoan Kiem Lake (Lake of the Restored Sword) and Ngoc Son Temple – both tell the history of Hanoi. There will also offer a chance for a cyclo tour through the Old Quarter streets. You will enjoy meeting the Hanoians and viewing their houses, food stalls, shops, etc.
Optional: In the late afternoon, you can get a ticket to the Water Puppet Show, which represents the beautiful traits of culture and art in Hanoi. The show takes place in 1 hour.

DAY 03: Hanoi - Halong Bay Overnight Cruise (B/L/D)


Enjoy your breakfast, and then get yourself ready for a 3-hour drive transfer from Hanoi to Halong. Upon your arrival on Tuan Chau Island, you will embark on a Halong Bay Overnight Cruise to set sail for the best bay in Vietnam. Gifted with emerald sea and amazing limestone formations, the “Bay of the Descending Dragon” owns picturesque cruising routes for everlasting joy. While it’s sailing, lunch will be served onboard. Make the most out of your time on the cruise by using the spa-massage services, cocktails, wines, beverages, food, etc. You can also learn how to cook Vietnamese food by watching live cooking demonstrations performed by master chefs.

DAY 04: Halong Bay – Hanoi – Flight to Da Nang – Hoi An (B)


Cherish your time in the majestic Bay by getting up early and joining Tai Chi practice on the sundeck. Catch the spectacular sunrise over the limestone peaks and take great photo shoots. While the breakfast buffet is being served, the cruise will move its way toward a pristine limestone cave for your outdoor discovery of the age-old stalagmites and stalactites. Around noon, it’s time to disembark and say goodbye to the beautiful Halong.
Get on a car transfer back to the airport in Hanoi to catch your domestic flight to Da Nang City. From Da Nang, the pick-up car will take you to the ancient town of Hoi An.

DAY 05: My Son Sanctuary – Hoi An Old Town (B)


Start the day with a morning drive to the consecrated My Son Sanctuary (My Son Holy Land). The heritage site is in a dense jungle, leaving it in a mysterious and untouched condition. The first time you’re standing in front of the tower-temple construction, it might take you back in time as if you’re in the religious and political capital of the Champa Kingdom.
Next, the drive will carry you back to the colorful Hoi An Old Town for an exploration of the Japanese Covered Bridge, Tan Ky Old House, Phuc Kien Assembly Hall, etc. Several old houses function as coffee shops and tailor-made shops, which welcome tourists. The next thing to do is a boat trip on the Hoai River targeting the cultural Thanh Ha Pottery Village for a glimpse of how the locals are working on their pottery products.

DAY 06: Hoi An Beach Vacation (B)

Having free time for ease on the beaches of Hoi An will become your pleasant experience. Enjoy swimming, sunbathing, and doing whatever can bring you joy. A bicycle ride toward a nearby beach is an optional activity.

DAY 07: Hoi An – Hue (B/L)


Enjoy your free morning hours in Hoi An until the transfer time to the nearby airport for a domestic flight to Hue. Upon arrival, you’ll be transferred to the romantic city center of Hue, featuring a laidback lifestyle and fresh atmosphere. Each detail in Hue remains relaxed and friendly.
In the evening, a royal-style dinner will be prepared for you. It’s a precious opportunity to experience imperial life as if you were in ancient times. Hue cuisine will amaze your palate.

DAY 08: Hue Imperial City and Purple Forbidden City (B)


Have a good morning in romantic Hue and proceed to visit the famous Perfume River, blessed with flowery landscapes on the shores. You will meet many locals hanging out on the riversides. Embark on a scenic boat ride toward the Tomb of the Minh Mang emperor for a glimpse of the special architecture, garden, and story. The next destinations are the Tu Duc Tomb and Khai Dinh Tomb, of which each construction owns unique highlights of architecture and décor.
Next, move on to exploring the Imperial City of Hue; its layout includes the Imperial City gates, Purple Forbidden City, Outer Court (temples and places of worship), and Inner Court (gardens and pavilions). DAY 09: Hue – Flight to Saigon (B)

Getting to Saigon, you will be picked up and taken to a local hotel to refresh. Take a first glimpse of the bustling cityscape.

DAY 10: Cu Chi Tunnels - Saigon City Tour (B)


Start the day with a morning drive transfer from the city center to the famous Cu Chi Tunnels. This is where you get a unique experience in climbing through the underground tunnels and exploring the multi-function compartments (living room, mini-hospital, kitchen, etc.). Weapons used in wartime are also being exhibited. The on-spot experiences will help you understand how hard it was to survive and fight in such a narrow condition.
In the afternoon, you will be back in Saigon city center for a half-day city tour of the well-known landmarks. The must-see sites include Notre Dame Cathedral, Saigon Post Office, and Reunification Palace. The next stop will be Cho Lon (or Chinatown) featuring the Buddhist pagodas and tea houses. Besides, Binh Tay Market is worth a visit.

DAY 11: Saigon – Vinh Long – Can Tho - Mekong Delta Boat Ride (B/L)


Come prepared for a full-day Mekong Delta Tour. In the morning, the drive transfer will carry you from Saigon to Vinh Long, at around 136km. The idyllic town can please your eyes with its greenery. Known for the complex canal system, this southern area is best explored by a boat trip. Let’s embark and sail toward the Cai Be floating market to meet with the local merchants, and other tourists alike, and buy goods. You will be interested in watching people bargaining and exchanging products from a floating vehicle.
The next destination is Binh Hoa Phuoc Islet, which owns beautiful bonsai gardening. Enjoy the ultimate eco-friendly experiences. Then, you’re welcome to visit the local houses to see how the local families are making ceramics and tiles on the spot.

DAY 12: Can Tho – Saigon (B)


Today you will head to the pier of Can Tho from which a morning cruise will begin. The motorboat will carry you to the largest floating market in Can Tho, where you can watch the interesting business activities of the local merchants from their boats. It offers boundless opportunities for great photo shoots, and you can even try buying things from the floating booth. Have fun.
Return to Saigon for an overnight stay.

DAY 13: Saigon – Phnom Penh (B)


Today we will leave Vietnam to continue the 3-Week Indochina Tour to Cambodia. Have free time for ease in Saigon until you get a transfer to the airport for an international to Phnom Penh. Upon arrival, you will be welcome to Cambodia and then transferred to a local hotel. The rest hours of the day are your free time for ease and relaxation. You can do some first rounds of the city tour.

DAY 14: Phnom Penh City Tour (B)


After breakfast, the full-day Phnom Penh City Tour will get started. You will get on a tuk-tuk ride and stop by the famous Silver Pagoda adorned with almost 5,000 silver tiles. The next stops are the Royal Palace and the National Museum; each represents the brilliant period of the kingdom.
In the afternoon, let’s move on to the historical Toul Sleng Genocide Museum, which stores and exhibits the objects of the past synchronizing the genocide in Cambodia. The accompanying tour guide will inform you of the tragic past, what happened, and the meanings of the exhibitions in the museum. DAY 16: Angkor Thom Day Tour (B)


Angkor Thom is the major destination of the temple tour today. The 12th-century capital city of the Khmer kingdom welcomes your discovery of its remnants in the complex. As one of the most beautiful temples in the Angkor region, Ta Prohm should be your first stop on the agenda. Ta Prohm is photogenic and spectacular, with trees growing out of the ruins and being surrounded by the dense jungle.
The next stop is Banteay Kdei (Citadel of Chamber), Victory Gate, the Terrace of the Leper King, the Royal Palace, Baphoun, and Bayon. Especially, Bayon temple is featured with almost 200 smiling faces, which remain unique in the world. In the late afternoon, you are expected to climb up to the top of the pyramid-like Pre Rup temple to admire the majestic sunset over the magnificent Angkor ruins.

DAY 17: Angkor Wat and Banteay Srei (B)


The first and foremost destination of today is Angkor Wat – the largest religious monument ever built in the world. Angkor Wat was printed on Cambodia’s national flag, ensuring that it is a big must-see of all time. The Wat preserves intricate stone carvings for learning in the Hindu-Buddhist temple architecture of the Khmer. It is an outdoor museum for you to witness the religious masterpiece of mankind. Spend morning hours exploring the giant Wat in full.
In the afternoon, you will move to the hidden Banteay Srei (Citadel of Women) which is nestled in a dense jungle. Carved from red sandstone, this temple owns an attractive look and unique architecture, so it is surely worth a visit. Also known as the jewel of Khmer art and architecture, Banteay Srei has elaborate decorative carvings on the walls.

DAY 18: Tone Sap – Kampong Phluk Village – Flight to Luang Prabang (B)


Today you will set sail for the spectacular Tonle Sap Lake. The boat trip enables pleasant sightseeing of the floating houses, gorgeous scenery, and the locals’ activities. The boat will stop at the traditional Kampong Phluk Village for beautiful cultural exchanging opportunities. You can meet with the Khmer villagers, and get to know their daily activities, their fishing traditions, and more.

DAY 19: Luang Prabang City Tour (B)


The list of attractions to see today includes the Royal Palace Museum, Wat Sene, Wat Xiengthong, Wat Visoun, and Wat Aham. While the museum visit lets you witness the interesting artifacts exhibited, the temples represent classical Laotian architecture.
After lunchtime, proceed to the Arts and Ethnology Center for a glimpse of the local ethnic culture. The next stops are the weaving villages of Ban Xiengthong and Ban Xienglek for more cultural exchanges. On the way back to the city, you will stop at Wat Mai. Next, climb up to the top of Mount Phousi and reward yourself with the awesome view of the city and the Mekong River beneath. The sunset view from this spot is just impeccable.
Later, enjoy happy shopping rounds at a night market. You can buy textiles sold by the hill-tribe people as unique Laos souvenirs.

DAY 20: Pak Ou Caves – Kuang Si Waterfall (B)


You are welcome to join the alms-giving ritual in the early morning. By giving alms to the monks, you will receive their good blessings in return. This is a special trait of culture and religion in Laos. Next, enrich your Laos history by visiting the Royal Palace Museum. The next few hours will be invested in a boat trip targeting the mysterious and revered Pak Ou Caves, which house hundreds of Buddhist statues. It takes around 2 hours to arrive at the caves, so take time marveling at the scenery along the riverside.
The next activity is to relax in the picturesque Kuang Si Waterfalls, which have three levels of cascading hidden in a tropical jungle. Raise your cameras to capture this awesome waterfall.
